Lance Fensterman is Group Vice President of ReedPOP the quirky pop culture focused offshoot of Reed Exhibitions that he helped to conceive and launch. ReedPOP is the fastest growing division of Reed globally with 9 fan focused events including New York Comic Con, Penny Arcade Expo, UFC Fan Expo, Star Wars Celebration and the Singapore Toy Gaming and Comic Con. ReedPOP’s focus is domestic expansion via launching of new events and spreading the “currency of cool” around the globe through launch and acquisition.

Fensterman joined Reed 6 years ago bringing his entrepreneurial experience and passion for new media. Advocating for giving attendees and fans a strong voice and a person they can relate to, he has become a trusted fan ally and oft quoted industry expert. ReedPOP as a whole is known for its distinct culture, drive for constant innovation and tireless focus on serving its communities of passionate fans.

Under his direction, NYCC was awarded a Fastest 50 award by Trade Show Weekly and Crain’s Business named it the second largest event in New York City. Fensterman was named one of the 50 most powerful people in publishing under 40 and a “Global Leader” by Trade Show Weekly.

He lives in a barn Westchester County New York with his cat and a massive collection of Lego’s. His first professional job was as a puppeteer. Really.
