C. Russell Brumfield, Founder, Wizard Event Technologies
Bio: C. Russell Brumfield has always been a man of many pursuits. He transcended his humble beginnings as the product of a blue collar family living in a Florida trailer park, with an insatiable desire for knowledge and an entrepreneurial bent in high school. After stints as a landscaper, bus boy, pizza maker, waiter, swimming pool salesman, nightclub doorman, restaurant manager, paramedic, and mental health counselor, he followed with premed studies while fulfilling a four-year commitment in the U.S. Air Force. With a love of serving others, he started a catering business at the ripe old age of twenty-four, and within six short years he produced over a thousand weddings and was known as a caterer to the stars.
He spent his thirties building Wizard Studios, an international corporate event, sales training and incentive business that produces more than 2,000 events every year around the globe. He has built several multi-million dollar companies in many different endeavors with a major client list of Fortune 500 companies and A-List organizations like Motorola, Pfizer, Disney, NFL, PGA, NCAA, MTV, Nokia, Citibank, MONY, Toyota, GM, IBM, and Microsoft.
Throughout his lifetime of entrepreneurial pursuits, Brumfield gained a growing personal insight and spiritual awareness, and used this knowledge in manifesting success in a variety of ventures. He is a lifelong student and proponent of the world’s major religions and mystic teachings, and has an unquenchable thirst for philosophy, psychology, metaphysics, and diverse spiritual subjects. He’s been speaking on these subjects to audiences around the world for over fifteen years.
He’s also on a constant spiritual adventure and has traversed to the far corners of the earth from New Zealand to Chile, and from Sedona to the Great Pyramids. He’s gained a unique perspective of the world with floating journeys down the Nile and the Amazon, and hiking adventures from Alaska to Machu Pichu. He’s travelled through Eastern Europe by rail and even taken a bus through the back roads of Russia. His most life-changing journeys have been two separate pilgrimages along the 500-mile path of the Camino de Santiago – an historic thousand year-old trail through the Pyrenees and across northern Spain.
