Speaker Bio: Tom Wong is passionate about events and addicted to CRM. For the last six years, he has been an executive at salesforce.com where he led a variety of successful marketing programs including customer references, city tours and user groups. As Vice President of Dreamforce, Tom helped create of one of the largest, fastest growing and most admired user conferences in the world. Frustrated by the lack of tools to help him connect his event data with CRM, he pioneered an entirely new event app—the Dreamforce App—that enabled his teams to manage the full lifecycle of an attendee experience. In the last two years, the Dreamforce App has managed over 50,000 registrations, over 900 groups, and countless attendee interactions Prior to joining salesforce.com, Tom held senior management positions in sales and marketing at Gomez, Inc., was vice president of consulting at Theikos, and wrote the best-selling book Salesforce.com for Dummies.
